Home base. Our studio sits on Riverside Drive in the River Arts District, and something like half our built gardens are inside Asheville city limits — from Montford's old maples to the tight, steep lots off Town Mountain Road.
Asheville gardening is really three or four different climates wearing one zip code. A south-facing Kenilworth backyard bakes like Zone 8; a north-slope lot in Beaverdam holds frost pockets into May. We design to the microclimate, not the map.
